On the day of the anniversary, Nick discovers that his wife is gone and calls the cop, which gradually leads to the evidence of him somehow involved in the mystery unrevealing all the darkest secrets and troubles through Amy's hidden diary. Amy on the other hand is a magnificent evil plotting genius of revenge. Yet they both absolutely complement each other being disastrous persons.
Gone Girl introduces to a whole new realm of intriguing twists and unpredictable plots of mystery with creepy vibes. So now that's a phenomenal page-turner to read.
Sensitive readers should proceed with caution as the characters are portrayed disturbingly real and vicious.
